We currently offer a quarter or half body. We ensure minimal wastage with maximum value! You will receive all prime steak cuts, roasts, casserole meat, mince, sausages. Pet bones are also optional. Your cuts will be packed onto recyclable trays and your mince and sausages will be bagged. All your meat will be easily identifiable.

What happens next
When you place your order you pay a deposit to secure your meat package. We will then contact you with a date for collection from Bungendore Country Butchery. We do not currently offer delivery.
The final invoice is generated after your package has been weighed, and we can calculate your total.
In some cases we have slightly bigger bodies come back then expected, if this happens you have the option of keeping the extra meat or we can remove some mince, sausages etc to reduce the weight.
Processing & Collection
The processing of our beasts is carried out at Western Sydney Meat Works at Picton. (It’s a legal requirement for all processing to be carried out at a registered abattoir. ) Our meat then comes back to Bungendore Country Butchery where it hangs for the correct time to allow the meat to set.
The butchers then start their job of cutting the meat up into the required packages. It is then placed onto recyclable trays and wrapped, labelled and popped into a box. The roasts are also trayed up, double wrapped and labelled. The sausages are bagged in bundles of 9-12 and mince is 500-700grams per bag. These are also then popped into a box. We like to keep the boxes around 10-15kg so they are manageable when being handled. Typically the 1/4 package comes in 4 separate boxes.
The boxes are then put back into the cool room, we send out the final invoice and request payment before pick up.
